Question says it all really,
My one comment is that mods spend their time helping people and not getting on with their stuff, so even though the items are spawned in, they would have been earning them if not otherwise helping people.

Mods are mods cuz they wanna be mods, if they enjoy what their doing, they won't need any payment to keep them moderating. Being paid with resources in game will create a difference of who dominates in tekkit. If mods are paid then everyone will want to be a mod to get paid too and will result in an overflow in users asking for mod powers.

I agree with diamond, and as a moderator you'd have to have a decent amount of game time already and you'd probably already have enough resources, giving staff bonus resources for doing something that yes helps the server, but also gives them satisfaction and joy would just be pointless and lead to domination of Tekkit by the staff and a lot of annoying people begging to be staff just because they want resources.

A mod becomes a mod because he wants to keep the server clean. They're not really expecting anything to begin with, and I don't think there are a lot of people who just want to spawn everything in, because there will be no true sense of satisfaction because you never had to work towards those items.
Instantly skipping from nothing to a Red Matter tool or something like that is basically just depriving yourself of the sense of satisfaction.
That said, do you need any other mods? I'm on most of the time and I wouldn't mind helping out where it's needed.
